Today is our last day in Japan and we explored the gaming/comic district in Osaka. Brilliant. Now we have an early rise and flight to Korea. Looking forward to seeing where niall lives and works.

Had a great night down the dotonburi area, amazing atmosphere and hits all the senses. Had sushi which was delicious. Niall has arrived and it’s lovely to see him again….two out of three kids with us!

Today we visited Kyoto and the Fushimi Inari shrine. Attempted to climb to top but only Bryony had the legs…..suffering now though. Niall arrives tonight – can’t wait.

Day two in Japan was a beautiful winter day spent at Osaka castle and the Aquarium. The castle was amazing with the biggest stone walls….largest individual stone was around 60square metres in Volume! Well we arrived safely in Osaka after a 10 hour flight. Nice journey and we’ll looked after – thank you KLM. Then the trauma of Japanese customs! Sniffer dog very interested in our new case so we were all searched and our luggage thoroughly examined. I blame Ken!
