Well this week saw our friend and mentor – Brian, head back to the United Kingdom and therefore we inherited our 2nd dog – Archie who is slightly larger than dog number 1 – Ken. See below: –

After some brief hiccups after one week we have two dogs that are happily sleeping in the same room together! Result!

The only fly in the ointment is Karl the Cat! As always he thinks he rules the roost (which he does) and is constantly flaunting this by sauntering in front of Archie daring him to do anything. This is still a work in process but I feel we are slowly making progress.

What this has done is force Suzi and I to undertake at least one long walk a day, exploring the surrounding countryside in order to give the two dogs both exercise and bonding time.
