Suzi and Bryony both had tattoos by a famous tattooist – Hugo, whilst Niall and I found a great craft beer place – Magpie Brewing Company, lovely ales.

We then met Niall’s girlfriend – Jiyoung, who was lovely. We could not spend as much time as I would have liked to get to know her….next time.

The girls also managed some shopping of course.

On Sunday when Niall rejoined us we went to the Palace and the museum. I have discovered I know very little about Korea, something I intend to remedy.

Back to Cheongju for our last two days of this brilliant trip.
